2003 Chevrolet Tahoe Review, Prices, Photos: New Car Test Drive
The 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe is packed with new features and engineering improvements. America's best-selling full-size SUV, the Tahoe is just the right size for many folks. Big enough to haul busloads of people and boatloads of cargo, the Tahoe is more manageable than a Suburban. Chevrolet claims the 2003 model brings more than 40 major changes. Some of the new features are dazzling, some of the changes are subtle, and some are quite technical. The Tahoe is the perfect size for many people. It carries a lot more cargo than a compact or mid-size SUV like the TrailBlazer. It can carry a lot of cargo and four or five passengers at the same time. Third-row seats are available to increase the capacity to seven passengers. On the road, the Tahoe is smooth and stable, a rock. It has plenty of power and its brakes work well. The cabin in the 2003 model is comfortable and familiar, friendly and functional, better than the 2002 models. Turn off the highway and the Tahoe handles gravel, rugged two-tracks, mud, and snow.
Spy Photos: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade - Jalopnik
Those stealthy souls at Auto Spies got their hands on a few, hastily snapped but revealing cameraphone shots of the new Chevrolet Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade, apparently as they were being prepped for a photo shoot. The new design looks a bit blockier, with a cleaner facia, a la Trailblazer, than the current bruisers. They also look a tad shorter in height - though the cameraphone lens tends to distort - indicating a lower center of gravity to improve anti-rollover performance. Avalanche Fan Club seems to have been first to publish them.

It's easy for an SUV to look rugged in the showroom. To find out what makes Tahoe different, you should begin with the supremely rigid frame that is manufactured using hydroformed steel components. Then consider the confidence that comes with the standard StabiliTrak(TM) vehicle stability enhancement system that automatically counters the forces of a lateral skid and helps return Tahoe to your intended direction. Complete the picture with the peace of mind that accompanies the standard OnStar ° System.

2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Review - 2000 Tahoe MSRP, Specifications ...
Completely redesigned and re-engineered for model-year 2000, the Chevy Tahoe is lighter, trimmer, more powerful and more efficient than the previous model. The Tahoe's conservative-looking skin conceals the highest-technology full-size SUV on the market. But Chevrolet hasn't forgotten that buyers use Tahoes for work, so the 2000 model is loaded with features for towing and moving cargo. A range of models is available. The base model is a stripped-down vinyl-seat work truck. You won't see many of these. Chevrolet has gone to great lengths to make the Tahoe's interior more comfortable, more user-friendly, and more attractive for families. Controls are mounted closer to the driver's seat. Visibility out of the Tahoe is very good, thanks to new larger windows. The Tahoe also tops the Expedition in the usefulness of its third-row seat. While the Ford's third seat is a children-only compression chamber, the Tahoe's third seat provides space for adults' feet. It isn't a lot of space, but it is there. The third seat also folds, flips, slides and removes impressively.
